How the Endorsement Process Works
Simple steps:
- Complete the Survey
Provide information about your positions and priorities related to healthcare. - Review & Evaluation
MONA-PAC reviews responses along with voting records (if applicable) and alignment with nursing priorities. - Follow-Up (if needed)
Some candidates may be contacted for additional information or conversation. - Endorsement Decision
Endorsements are based on who best supports nurses, patients, and access to care.
What We Look For in Candidates
Candidates who show:
- Support for safe staffing and workplace safety
- Commitment to patient access and quality care
- Understanding of nursing workforce challenges
- Willingness to engage with the nursing community
- Leadership on healthcare-related issues
Before You Begin
MONA-PAC represents the voice of nurses across Missouri in healthcare policy.
- The questionnaire takes approximately 10–15 minutes
- Please answer all questions as thoroughly as possible
- Responses are used in the endorsement evaluation process
- Not all candidates will receive endorsement
